Very helpful even after the sale
Always given an honest answer on question without a sales push to up sell. Nice people
All I wanted was a price for a fireplace they insisted on having my address I don't want junk mail sent to my house told them I didn't want to give my address they insisted upon it again so I hung up
Excellent experience from beginning to end. Staff and owners very helpful and friendly and took the time to help us pick the right fireplaces for our home. Rita, was great with this, and answering all my questions! We loved that H&H are completely full service. They not only sell great products, but they install and service all the units well. We really like the fact that we can use one company for everything. Ralph, our installer, was extremely easy and pleasant to work with, and very patient with me, as I like to be involved in the process. He did a great job with installation and laying our stone. It came out beautifully. We did have one hiccup in the beginning of the project which could have been a huge problem and disappointment for us, but Marvin, the owner, got the issue resolved quickly, and did so in an extremely professional manner.
My experience is like Aaron's written comment. The woman/owner is all about this imaginary federal code that says all liners need to be insulated. This is a good idea to use an insulated liner, but not when it requires knocking out chimney parts so it can fit! She must have bought a huge amount of insulated liner and needs to get rid of it or something. They wanted to knock out my clay liner so they could put their insulated 6inch liner down the chase. She said it was code. I called the town and they said insulation was not required. I called two other fireplace stores and they said the same thing, not required. The eployee's attitudes are negative and destructive. I think it is due to trickle down leadership. I think the front line employees try and be helpful, but are attacked and headed off by the female tyrant owner. I don't understand how difficult it is to put a flexible steel tube down a hole and shove a fire box in a hole can be. really ridiculous. These people are definitely Hitlery voters. They know what is best for everyone. Makes me sick to my stomach. They think they are the government enforcers or something.
