Morris County Marine has definitely earned my trust and business for as long as I maintain my boat and live locally. Unfortunately, they are at times inundated with work so you will have to be a bit patient but it's worth the wait.
The owner Doug is by far the nicest, most honest and most knowledgeable person you will ever deal with as far as any boats are concerned. I would NEVER. Go anywhere else, I would always drive out of my way to go see him. (I have previously tried almost every other marina around lake hopatcong and honestly everyone is rude, EXTREMELY over priced, and sketchy / dishonest.) Doug is the complete opposite of those things and that is why I felt it was important to write a review. Please give him your business!
My 200 HPDI Yamaha ioutboard would not operate correctly at higher RPM's. JOE fixed it through computer diagnosis, research, testing and cleaning of sensors and filters. The motor now runs like new. I took it to the lake and tested it right after I picked it up. I took it to Morris County Marine because they are factory trained Yamaha mechanics and they have a good reputation. Doug is honest and charged a fair repair price.
My experiences with Doug and his staff at Morris County Marine have always been positive. They are honest, courteous and professional and have always gone above and beyond what is expected of them. This is a top-notch establishment that makes customer service their number one priority. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
